You can upgrade your subscription to either IDrive Personal or IDrive Business, and backup all of your PCs, Macs and mobile devices into a single account.
The easiest way of determining which version you have is by looking at the menu screen. NBT-EVO iDrive is available in 3 versions, iD4, iD5 and iD6. You can simply download the upgrades via the My BMW App or the SIM card installed in the vehicle and then install them. Customers can view the software version and check for available upgrades in the vehicle settings under Remote Software Upgrade.
Vehicles with BMW Operating System 7 produced from July 2021 on already come with the latest version, including all additional functions.
